Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small values stored by a browser for a website. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage. This policy explains how the pages provided by RobotBuying.com use these technologies.

Current Website Behaviour

The website's pages do not set or read cookies or sessionStorage. They use localStorage only for the theme preference described below, and only after you turn on the Dark mode switch. They do not include advertising trackers, browser analytics, embedded third-party content, or requests to external font services. Fonts use those available on your device. The homepage's copy button stores nothing.

There is no cookie-consent banner. The only browser storage the pages use is the theme preference, which is saved only when you turn on the Dark mode switch and is used only to show that theme; it is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking. This is a description of these pages, not a blanket exemption for any technology that might be added later.

Theme Preference

Each page has a Dark mode switch in its header. The pages are light and store nothing until you turn the switch on. When you do, your browser saves a localStorage value named theme, containing only the word dark, so the other pages open in the dark theme too.

The value stays in your browser. It is not sent to the website's server with page requests and is not combined with other information. It has no automatic expiry. It is removed when you turn the switch off, and you can also remove it by clearing site data for robotbuying.com. If your browser blocks storage, the switch still changes the page you are on, and other pages open in the light theme.

Older Notice Preference

An earlier version of these pages included a notice that could store a localStorage value named cookie-noticed when dismissed. That value had no automatic expiry. The current pages do not read or write it. If you used that version and the value remains in your browser, you can remove it by clearing site data for robotbuying.com; keeping or removing it does not affect this version of the website.

Server Logs and Browser Caching

The hosting server can keep access logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, without placing a cookie in your browser. The Privacy Policy explains those records. Your browser may also cache pages and stylesheets to speed up loading; this is different from a visitor-tracking identifier.

If hosting or security services add cookies or similar technologies, the approach under Changes and Contact below applies. A service being supplied by a hosting provider does not automatically make its storage strictly necessary.

Your Controls and Email

You can block cookies or clear this site's data in your browser settings. The website pages and email links work without browser storage; blocking it only means a theme you choose is not remembered from page to page. Because the pages do not track you, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals have nothing to switch off; see the Privacy Policy. Opening an email application or following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy and storage practices.

Changes and Contact

If other storage or tracking features are introduced, this policy will be updated and any legally required choices will be provided before those features operate. For questions, contact domains@robotbuying.com.
